(SI.Com) The Knicks' tango with Ramon Sessions could wrap up tomorrow, according to his agent. The Clippers, who waived guard Mike Taylor, are the other team involved, but the Knicksappear to be the frontrunners because they are able to offer Sessions a starting role.

Whatever, his loss, sure he has a legitimate shot at starting in New York..but lets be honest, for the first time in a very very very...okay EVER the Clips have legitimate talent and he can thrive playing behind Davis. Lets not forget B-Davis is also somewhat injury prone to the guy has a change at some serious playing time....but none of this might matter anyway, the Bucks should match if management has any brains

The last time the Clips had legitimate talent was in 2006, when they made it to the Western Conference semifinals, one round better than the Lakers.

Right, but your forgetting that the Lakers were still in rebuild mode when that occurred, whereas the Clips actually had a solid mix of vets and young guys. And honestly I have to disagree the 06 is no where near as talented as the team that they are gonna start the season with this year

The '09 Clips potentially have better talent than the '06 team, but they're still way too young to do much (see '09 Thunder). The one player that trumps this argument is Elton Brand. At the prime of his career, especially in '05-06, he was an MVP candidate at nearly 25 PPG and 10 RPG. On the other hand, Blake Griffin, although much hyped, is an unknown in the NBA. Flash Gordon is only entering into his second season, and Al Thornton is only entering into his 3rd season. That's 3/5th of the starting lineup with 3 seasons of experience combined. Right now, they don't have a go-to guy like Brand nor the post-season guy like a Sam Cassell, who would take over games in the 4th quarter. Cassell just wouldn't let the Clippers lose; I have yet to see B-Dizzle do that yet in a Clipper uniform. I see the Clippers at best fighting for the 7th and 8th spot along with the Suns, Rockets, Warriors and Thunder. My prediction: Clippers in the 9th spot by a good 5 games or so but showing significant progress.
