NBA to open with Cavs-Celtics, rings for Lakers

In a replay of sorts of last year's opener, the Cleveland Cavaliers and Boston Celtics will launch the 2009-10 NBA season -- only this time LeBron James has some welcome firepower in new teammate Shaquille O'Neal.

The league on Tuesday released its schedule, which begins with Shaq's Cleveland debut on the Cavs' home floor on Oct. 27. On the back end of that TNT Tuesday doubleheader, Kobe Bryant and the rest of the Los Angeles Lakers will receive their championship rings prior to facing the Clippers.

Oh how I've missed the NBA...October 27th cannot get here soon enough!...Also what a way for B-Griffin to start his NBA career, he has to watch the Lake Show receive their rings...who knows maybe that will motivate him to try and bring one home to the other LA team.....now good luck convincing all those other tools in his locker room to get on board.

B-Dizzle is gonna light up Smelly Fish that night baby. He's in the best shape of his career. Nice confidence builder for the rest of the season for the Clips with a nice W against the undoubtedly complacent Lakers.
